Trust Jesus In Difficult Times
Dear Friends,
I invite you to consider Matthew 8:23-27.
Christ models for us peace and calm during a tumultuous storm. He called his disciples to trust him and have faith in difficult times. He did not abandon them; instead, trust in Christ transformed the circumstances for the disciples.
In the past month, the depth and challenge of a worldwide pandemic have become very evident to all of us in the human community. As a community of faith, I invite you to act responsibly by following the advice and practices of our medical professionals.
Also, we can help those who are suffering in any way we can through prayer and practice, faith in an all-good, forgiving, and loving God. Although it’s too early in this pandemic to fully understand current and future realities, we must all make changes to how we conduct our activities, and to help one another mitigate the impact of this pandemic.
Most importantly, all of you remain in my daily prayers. We can and will get through this together. Peace and all good,
Br. Henri Djojo, OFM
